Colin Redfern Truck                 Racing

 

             

    Colin Redfern started life working on his fathers small           farm, then progressed onto a bigger farm, where he found     he had an aptitude for engineering, he then decided to

    take his H.G.V. licence and start up his own haulage and

    property company, after a few successful years he

    set up a company called Axtron ltd and started building

    Race Trucks, Race Engines and VG Turbo's for himself

    and other people, racing in the UK and European Truck

    Race Championship.

    One of the trucks he built was the Perkins sponsored

    Race Truck of which he also managed the team for eight

    years, Colin was also Chairman of the B.T.R.A. for two

    years, after a successful career of building and Raceing

    Trucks spanning twenty years, he retired and put his 

    feet up.
